Quantum Heartbeat Sensing (Magnetocardiography)

Detection of the heart's magnetic field at distance using quantum sensors. Cardiac fields are vanishingly weak (~10 pT) but measurable. The April 2026 pilot rescue operation appears to be the first live operational use.
